All Lethal Company Ranks explained

Can we get an employee of the month badge?

In Lethal Company, players are ranked based on how well they perform their jobs. Below, I've explained every rank in Lethal Company and how you can increase yours.

All Ranks in Lethal Company

All ranks in Lethal Company don't have any actual effect on the game. The higher ranks won't boost your looting abilities, nor will they increase the money you can earn from selling scrap. They are only for aesthetic purposes as a badge on your Company suit.

It's a good way to brag to your teammates about how skilled you are at the game. If I see another player wearing a Leader badge, I know I can trust them with my life.

There are five ranks in Lethal Company. Since the game is in Early Access and will get updates, we might get new ranks and new badges in the future. If we do, we will update the following list.

  • Intern - XP 0 - 50
  • Part-time - XP 50 to 100
  • Employee - XP 100 to 200
  • Leader - XP 200 to 500
  • Boss - XP over 500

How to increase your Rank in Lethal Company

To increase your rank in Lethal Company, you must perform well and reach your quota in each round. Your performance is marked by a letter grade, determined by the amount of scrap you've collected and whether or not you survived. In order to rank up, you need to earn a certain amount of rank XP, which is given out at the end of every run.

You can increase your rank from Intern to Part-Time pretty quickly—within two or three runs—by earning good grades and avoiding death. Part-time to Employee can also be achieved quickly, probably in two quotas if you're on top of your game. The Leader rank is also achievable if you have a good crew. However, getting the Boss rank really requires great team coordination and knowledge. I haven't encountered anyone with a Boss badge yet, which speaks to its difficulty.

If you're like me and keep dying due to poor spatial awareness (it's always the snare fleas or the quicksand), then your XP will decrease. If it falls below a rank threshold, your rank will go down. If you fail to meet your quota, your entire team will be sent to re-training, causing a rank reset and sending everyone back to Intern.
