Togepi is back again in the latest installment for the Pokémon franchise. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, we face a new challenge for evolving it: Friendship. Friendship levels are not a new mechanic to the series, but many players find that it's one of the more difficult methods to evolve their Pokémon.
How to evolve Togepi
Togepi can only evolve if your Friendship level with it is high enough. You can increase your Friendship level with it by feeding it berries, using it in battle, giving it EXP candy, or even just having it in your party. When you raise its Friendship level high enough, it will display a prompt in the Party Menu that Togepi can evolve. Unlike the other Pokémon games, evolution doesn't happen automatically when you reach a specific level. You must select Togepi from the party menu and force it to evolve when it has met the required conditions.
Once you evolve Togepi into a Togetic, you must use a Shiny Stone to evolve it into a Togekiss. When it levels up to any level while holding a Shiny Stone, it will give you the option to evolve it in your Party Menu.
