It depends solely on the game style you prefer. Scout is the most popular option since it deals the most damage, although the downside is being vulnerable to enemy attacks. Acolyte is best suited for players who prefer a supporting role, while Guard is the least favored class, as it's purely a classic tank/defensive role.

The rich customizable system of items, weapons, and classes gives you a lot of control over your adventure.
